Tracking and Investigating the Performance of Alternative Fuel Buses – Quarterly Reports

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has engaged the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) to collect and report performance and cost data related to the operation and maintenance of transit vehicles in Florida. CUTR made repeated attempts to collect performance and cost data for both fixed route and paratransit vehicle fleets. Recognizing the difference between the two types of service, researchers performed the data collection separately for fixed route buses and paratransit buses. Consequently, the costs were also reported separately for these two types of transit service. CUTR has been collecting and reporting transit fleet performance and cost data on a regular basis since 2012.
